Tourism and economic development – RENAISSANCE OF STONEHAVEN MANOR IN SAINTE-AGATHE-DES-MONTS

Acquired in 2015 by promoters Georges Coulombe, Alexandre Triquet, Guylaine Brault and Éric Dandurand, StoneHaven Le Manoir, the prestigious Agatha site that was once home to the Oblate Fathers and the residence of Lorne McGibbons, is currently undergoing a facelift that will restore it to its former glory. More than four years ago, Mr. Triquet saw an opportunity for hotel and recreational tourism development, which Mr. Coulombe and the co-owners enthusiastically supported.

The first phase of the $10 million investment will see the construction of 30 state-of-the-art guest rooms, a ballroom, several meeting rooms for up to 250 people, treatment rooms, a spa and majestic gardens for professional events, weddings and shows. Dating from the 1900s-1920s, the authentic furnishings that will fill the rooms have each been selected by Mr. Coulombe during his travels on the American East Coast. In the short term, some 60 full-time jobs will be created. We invite you to reserve your room at www.stonehavenlemanoir.com .
