L’oriento 1 was designed between Brussels and Marrakech: we traveled together to find the best materials and suppliers. I wanted to immerse myself in this culture so as to translate its finesse into the decors we were going to create.
The idea was to immerse the curious customer in the golden years of the Orient, when the French migrated to avoid deportation. A time when cultures collided to create superb architectural and decorative blends.
